
Ocean Pines Golf Club Receives PGA Grant

Ocean Pines Golf Club was recently selected to receive a $2,500 grant from the Middle Atlantic Professional Golfers’ Association Foundation.
The grant was awarded by the Professional Golfers’ Association Middle Atlantic Joint Player Development and Junior Golf Committees so that Ocean Pines can continue to grow the game of golf and introduce it to new players.
Ocean Pines Golf Club Debuts New Golf Carts

New golf carts are now in use at Ocean Pines Golf Club. A fleet of 76 Yamaha QuieTech carts was delivered the week of Jan. 9.
The new fuel-efficient, gas-powered carts feature USB charging ports and sound almost as quiet as electric, according to Yamaha.
“The feedback we’ve gotten from golfers – both Ocean Pines residents and nonresidents – has been entirely positive. The carts are quiet, smooth and so much better than the old ones,” said Ocean Pines PGA Director of Golf John Malinowski.
The old cart fleet, which was purchased by Ocean Pines in July 2008, was returned to Yamaha as part of a trade-in agreement.
Golfer Chosen for $1 Million Shoot-out

One lucky golfer has earned a chance to win $1 million at Ocean Pines Golf Club on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 11 am.
Don Smith, who is from Arnold, Md. and is a part-time Ocean Pines resident, qualified for his chance at the money at Ocean Pines Golf Club’s Residents’ Day, which was held on Sunday, Oct. 23.
Discounted Golf, Food and Fun at Residents’ Day

Ocean Pines residents can enjoy discounted golf, food and fun for adults and kids, including a chance to win $1 million, at Ocean Pines Golf Club’s Residents’ Day on Sunday, Oct. 23.
All golf rounds at the Robert Trent Jones championship course will be $25 that day, cart included. Although the regular advance tee time booking window for discounted rounds is five days, the course is accepting tee times effective immediately for this day only.
Ocean Pines Golf & Country Club to Hold Fall Golf Clinics
