Ocean Pines Golf Members' Council to Offer Junior Golf Scholarships

Up to three scholarships of $500-$1500 each will be awarded to current high school seniors in support of their college plans for the 2017-2018 school year. Students who are from the Ocean Pines area, including Berlin and Worcester County, are encouraged to see the guidance counselors at their respective schools for an application. Applications are also available online at OceanPinesGolf.org and OceanPines.org.

The scholarships are intended for local students who have shown an interest in golf; active participation in competitive golf is not a requirement. Golf team members and recreational golfers as well as those students who are interested in golf management and turf science are encouraged to apply.

 

Completed applications should be submitted to guidance no later than May 5, 2017. Alternatively, they may be mailed to Golf Scholarship Committee, c/o Ocean Pines Golf Club, 100 Clubhouse Road, Ocean Pines, MD 21811.
