Sip & Shop at OP Golf Club a success

(February 9, 2026) Members, residents, and guests gathered at Ocean Pines Golf Club for a fun-filled “Sip and Shop” event on Friday, February 6, enjoying exclusive deals at the Pro Shop along with cocktails and light refreshments.

Director of Golf Matt Ruggiere and his family welcomed attendees as they shopped. He expressed his gratitude for everyone that came out. 

“Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our Sip and Shop event,” said Ruggiere. “Seeing so many members, residents, and guests stop by, especially during such a cold weekend, was incredibly rewarding, and it speaks volumes about the strength of our community. Events like this are a great reminder that Ocean Pines Golf Course is more than just a place to play golf; it’s a place to connect, enjoy time together, and have some fun along the way.”

Ruggiere added that he truly appreciates the support and is looking forward to more exciting events in the months ahead. 

Guests also had the opportunity to enjoy food and drink specials at the Clubhouse Bar & Grille, as well as live entertainment from the musical duo Two Pistols.
