ClubhouseFrontOcean Pines Golf Club has officially received its certificate of occupancy, signaling the end of the year-long construction process that has resulted in a brand-new clubhouse.
Although the building is currently closed to the public per an executive order from Maryland Govenor Larry Hogan, Ocean Pines golf and restaurant staff are able to utliize the space.
The new restaurant and bar - The Clubhouse Bar and Grille -  when open, will feature a spacious bar, indoor and outdoor seating, and a fireplace. A large outdoor deck and patio with a fire pit and outdoor television screens takes advantage of the scenic 18th hole and pond.
The restaurant is serving breakfast and lunch and is open for carryout only for golfers and non-golfers from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Food and drinks are available, and orders may be placed at the back deck located at the turn.

Ocean Pines Golfers Donate to Diakonia

Because we can all use some good news right now, we want to share the following message from the Ocean Pines Golf Members Council, the Ocean Pines Ladies Golf Association and the Ocean Pines Men's Golf Association:
"On January 17, not long before any of us knew we would spend our spring days in quarantine, over seventy members of the Ocean Pines Golf Community enjoyed a pizza party at the Community Center. Everyone pitched in $10, enjoyed a variety of locally made pizzas, and chatted about the new Clubhouse and the hopes of good golfing weather for the grand opening.
The event produced a profit of nearly $250 which was set aside to help fund future social events for the golf membership. With the current schedule of events and tournaments on hold, the leadership of the Ocean Pines Golf Members’ Council, the Ocean Pines Ladies’ Golf Association, and the Ocean Pines Men’s Golf Association has decided donate this money to Diakonia Inc. as they work during these difficult times to provide meals and support for those who have been severely affected by recent events."

New Clubhouse Progress Continues

Although Ocean Pines Golf Club is currently closed to the public per order of Maryland Governor Larry Hogan for all nonessential businesses to close, course maintenance work and work on the new clubhouse are continuing! Take a look at the latest progress.
