Happy Hour, Dinner Specials, Trivia Night and More Coming to Clubhouse Bar and Grille

IMG 9752There’s a lot going on at the Clubhouse Bar and Grille this month, including happy hour discounts, trivia night, a new dinner menu, and exclusive Super Bowl specials.

The Clubhouse Bar and Grille, based inside the new Ocean Pines Golf Club building on 100 Clubhouse Drive, is now open Thursday through Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. After March 11, the Yacht Club will reopen and the Clubhouse will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

From Feb. 4 through March 11, the Clubhouse will offer happy hour specials from 3-6 p.m. Specials include $3 rail drinks, $4 wines, $5 crushes and discounted draft and bottled beers.

Also starting on Feb. 4 and continuing each Thursday through March 11, the Clubhouse will host the popular trivia night event, from 6-8 p.m. Gather a team, enjoy food and drink specials, and compete to win prizes. Guests must make a reservation prior to taking part in trivia night by calling 410-641-7222.
Dinner specials from Feb. 4-7 include a chipotle barbecue flank steak served over a crab, corn and asparagus hash for $26; lobster pot pie with carrots, onions, celery, mushrooms and peas in a seafood velouté topped with puff pastry for $28; a single crab cake with remoulade served with asparagus and fingerling potatoes for $26; and roasted chicken breast wrapped in gruyere cheese and country ham served over fingerling potatoes and sautéed broccoli for $24.

Friday night dinner specials will also feature prime rib, while supplies last. A 12-ounce prime rib is $17, and a 16-ounce prime rib is $20.

All specials are dine-in only, because of the limited kitchen size at the Clubhouse.

Dinner specials change weekly and dinner service starts at 4 p.m. To view the latest dinner menu, visit www.oceanpinesgolf.org/dining. The regular Clubhouse menu will also be available during dinner.

On Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 7, the Clubhouse will air the big game on eight TVs and one giant video screen. Super Bowl specials include 30 wings with three sauce options, and choice of buffalo chicken or cheese steak dip, all for $50, plus tax. This exclusive special will be available for dine-in and carryout service.

The kitchen will close at 8 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday, but the bar will remain open until the end of the game.

“We’re super excited to get back into the swing of things at the Clubhouse kitchen – pun intended!” said Ralph DeAngelus, cofounder of the Matt Ortt Companies that runs Ocean Pines’ food and beverage operations. “We think Ocean Pines is going to love our new slate of specials, and we can’t wait to see everyone there.”
